Stylish space

Amazing hosts! Stylish space. Communication was easy. Great views! I could not have asked for a better introduction to Oregon’s beauty!

This home is amazing! Jon and his parents have thought of every detail and we felt right at home. The views and sounds of the river are breathtaking! It's a bit of a drive from Medford but so worth it. We stayed here with our parents who were equally impressed by the location, beauty, and the thoughtful amenities provided. We have stayed at a lot of airbnb's and this is now in our top 3 list. We can't wait to return!

Highly recommended

We were very lucky to stay there. Jon’s parents were the most gracious hosts and helped us out during a very stressful time in between moving from another state and getting the keys to our new home. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting in the southern Oregon area.

Amazing view and hospitality!

The hospitality, the space and the view were all amazing. The house was very spacious, well decorated and extremely comfortable for the 3 of us. The evening sunsets on the deck were breathtaking and the sound of the river at night was truly comforting, a welcome sound with our return to the Rogue Valley. Joe was attentive without being invasive; we truly enjoyed the our visit and look forward to coming back.

Thoughtful and pet friendly!

We had a blast staying at the Rouge River Guesthouse! The hosts on site were a delight! When we arrived we found bagels, cream cheese, orange juice and two Sierra Nevada Pale ales left for us. It was a lovely surprise! Nancy and Joe were very helpful providing tips on places to visit. We took the drive to Crater Lake and I am very thankful to Nancy, who let me borrow her puffy winter jacket. They truly thought of everything and were fantastic hosts! They even provided a dog bed, tennis ball and treats for our dog! Thank you Nancy and Joe for the wonderful Airbnb. We will be back again!

I am a simple man from the Pacific Northwest, interested in facilitating experiences, innocuous rule-breaking, and wilderness adventure. Often I enjoy losing altitude on or in some form of water.

I work on a computer for my day job. I am a consultant in the renewable energy industry, working with electric utilities around the world helping them to plan investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and grid modernization. I am motivated by my love of the environment--recognizing that the energy industry is one of the most significant environmental influence levers we humans have. I adore the Pacific Northwest and particularly WA state. I split time between Bellingham, Leavenworth, and work travel. Since I have a computer anywhere I have that flexibility which I am very grateful for.

Hosting is energizing for me. Facilitating a positive experience is one of my passions. I would like to think that I am fairly easygoing, so please give me a call if you have any questions or concerns about your stay or want some recommendations!
