Check in Instructions

There is a lockbox on the porch next to the door. The code for the key pad lock box is 0415. This box has a key to the front door. Parking has been expanded at the top of the driveway.  This is where long term guest parking is located. For unloading, guests may park briefly at the cottage door. The property owner lives onsite and will likely be available to answer questions or help during your stay.

Please let us know if you are bringing dogs (what kind, how many, and names!) so we can leave out the dog beds and treats!

Finally, the cottage is located near private property and while the views are great, we can not allow foot traffic access to the lake directly downhill from the cottage. Lake access is available a short walk away down Fair Oaks Road, ask the owners onsite for directions!

Check Out Instructions

Check out time is 11am. If there is not another guest right after your stay, you can ask for a later check out.

Book this spot!

If you are considering booking - do it now! We stayed here for 4 weeks and had the best time. Olympia is beautiful, surrounding towns/hikes are so close, you are right on the river with beautiful views, the neighborhood is adorable and the cottage itself is clean, bright and equipped with everything you will need! We were sad to go!

Comfy with great light

This cottage was amazing! Had everything we needed and more. The bed was the best part as it was one of the most comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on. The location was nice and calm and the natural lighting was phenomenal. Definitely would come back!

Excellent lake view

The cottage is immaculate, nicely decorated, and well-equipped, with a nice lake view. This was our first experiment with AirBNB, and it was SO much nicer than a motel for a very similar cost. We could only get a two day slot at the cottage at the end of our stay, but it was very much worth it.

I am a simple man from the Pacific Northwest, interested in facilitating experiences, innocuous rule-breaking, and wilderness adventure. Often I enjoy losing altitude on or in some form of water. I work on a computer for my day job. I am a consultant in the renewable energy industry, working with electric utilities around the world helping them to plan investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and grid modernization. I am motivated by my love of the environment--recognizing that the energy industry is one of the most significant environmental influence levers we humans have. I adore the Pacific Northwest and particularly WA state. I split time between Bellingham, Leavenworth, and work travel. Since I have a computer anywhere I have that flexibility which I am very grateful for. Hosting is energizing for me. Facilitating a positive experience is one of my passions. I would like to think that I am fairly easygoing, so please give me a call if you have any questions or concerns about your stay or want some recommendations!
